UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE MADRID (UPM)
The Technical University of Madrid (UPM) was founded in 1971 through the integration of the Higher Technical Schools formerly known as the Higher Technical Institutes. However, the origin of the institution dates back much further. Teaching in the majority of the Centres was established during the reign of Carlos III. During those years the Schools were practically the only ones in the country linked to the teaching of Architecture and Engineering. As set out in its statute, the Technical University of Madrid has, among its objectives, the creation, development, transmission and criticism of science, technology, and culture. To this end it also works from its Institutes and Research Centers, assimilating the changes taking place in our society and maintaining its vocation for excellence, which is why it has both national and international recognition.
The Technical University of Madrid holds double recognition as a Campus of International Excellence, a distinction that refers to the quality of its research and teaching activity.

This project will be a PLATFORM for training future technology leaders that connects the UPM with the business world, helping to round out the training of our graduates and providing our schools (and the university) with the means to address the challenges posed by engineering education in the 21st century.
The Center was designed as a project involving students, alumni, professors, employers and professionals from the strategy field. It is an open leadership and innovation space, teaching programmes to boost transformation, change, practical leadership, preparation for professional life and programme teacher training.
This space is composed of different programmes that meet the co-curricular training needs of students, teaching and research and administrative staff in these fields.
